Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence Developer for Language Models to join our team at RUAG AG.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and machine learning, with expertise in designing, implementing, and refining large language models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement large language models to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Implement and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques to enhance the depth and breadth of our language models.
  • Acquire and curate high-quality training datasets to ensure diversity and relevance.
  • Fine-tune models using Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) or other strategies to meet performance and reliability standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in AI and NLP, applying innovative techniques to enhance model capabilities and performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven experience in NLP and machine learning.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD tools.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
Desirable Skills:
  • PhD in NLP.
  • C++/C programming skills.
  • CUDA experience.
  • Languages: German, French, Italian.
  • Containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes.
  • NLP libraries like huggingface, nltk.
