Sports Educator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Education Specialist to join our team at Oakridge International School, Bengaluru. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a dynamic learning environment that fosters healthy participation in physical activities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create engaging lessons that maintain a stable pace, motivation, and stimulation,
• Maintain discipline in accordance with school procedures and encourage good practices,
• Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development by evaluating teaching methods and staying up-to-date on the latest skills and techniques,
• Communicate effectively with parents as needed,
• Teach extracurricular activities and organize special events,

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education or a related field,
• Relevant teaching experience, preferably in primary/elementary, middle, and/or high school,
• Advanced coaching experience in football, basketball, or volleyball,
• Ability to work collaboratively within the School and Athletics Team,
• International and independent school experience is preferred,
• Strong administrative skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office,
• Excellent verbal communication skills and fluency in English and French.
