Job Purpose

We are seeking a seasoned strategic sourcing professional to lead our Global Procurement team in Geneva, Switzerland. As Head of Sourcing - Corporate Services and IT, you will be responsible for procurement categories directly related to guest satisfaction aboard our cruise ships.

Key Accountabilities
  • Partner with Corporate Functions to define sourcing strategies for critical corporate and IT spend, driving growth and value creation for MSC Cruises.
  • Build and grow relationships with key suppliers, selecting those with high future potential and ability to create value for MSC.
  • Define the best way to take spend to market, depending on market analysis and stakeholder requirements, promoting sustainable development actions in line with MSC Cruises' values.
  • Study, animate, and manage the creation of global sourcing optimizations, both qualitatively and quantitatively, across various departments of the company.
  • Propose ways of working optimizations, developing common tools and templates.
  • Create and lead supplier segmentation and relationship management (SRM), maintaining a mindset of long-term partnership and respect for suppliers.
Qualifications
  • University degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or computer sciences.
  • 10+ years of strong sourcing experience with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a significant global Corporate Service and IT sourcing role at a director level in FMCG or equivalent industries.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, data-driven decision making, and ability to adjust plans based on insights amid ambiguity, complexity, and uncertainty.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to work autonomously, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, attention to details, and commitment to deliver work quality.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, comfortable with stakeholder management in a matrix organization.
  • Perfect command of English (spoken and written). Fluency in other languages, with Italian and French being preferential ones, would be advantageous.
