Your Expert Role
As a Quantitative Biologist at the University of Zurich, you will apply modern biostatistics to large-scale datasets, including Next Generation Sequencing data. Your expertise will be instrumental in establishing a two-photon calcium imaging analysis pipeline for pericytes in cerebral slices. Your responsibilities will also include project management and supervising doctoral students.
Your Ideal Profile
- PhD in Intergative Molecular Medicine or in Neuroscience
- Experience in cerebrovascular biology
- Experience analyzing two-photon calcium imaging data
- Minimum 3 years of postdoc experience
- Demonstrated experience in single cell/nuclei RNA-seq data analysis
- Proficiency in R and Python
- Mouse handling and breeding transgenic mouse lines
- Valid FELASA cat. B certificate
- Experience with confocal microscopy, light-sheet microscopy, and image analysis
- Cell culture techniques
