Elevator Service Technician

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with instructions in work orders
  • Secure the work area, inspect and distribute all delivered materials
  • Prepare installations and secure them according to work instructions
  • Perform repair and replacement work on mechanical and electronic elevator and escalator components according to provided instructions
  • Work independently on wiring electronic components
  • Advise and support service technicians on complex maintenance and troubleshooting tasks
  • Have the authority and obligation to stop work if safety is not guaranteed (Stop Work Activity)

Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge

  • A technical or electrical skills certificate or equivalent with ideally several years of experience in the elevator industry
  • A valid Swiss driver's license is required
  • Fluent German language skills are assumed
  • Customer- and service-oriented
  • Adaptable and resilient
