Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer with a passion for sensors and vacuum technology to develop smart valve systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Testing and assessment of advanced sensor and actuator components in our state-of-the-art R&D innovation center
- Development and assembly of experimental setups
- Execution and documentation of experiments (DoE) including results in a structured and organized manner
- Maintenance of the lab environment and experimental setups
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams of experts within VAT R&D's global organization

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- A degree in Physics Laboratory Technician, BSc or MSc Engineering, or Applied Sciences (FH)
- Experience with experimental setups and vacuum technology
- Background in automation and PLC programming is advantageous
- Familiarity with data analytics and scripting in Python for data processing
- Proven knowledge in developing concepts, prototyping, and industrializing electronics or mechatronic products
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, working systematically and hands-on
