The estimated salary for this position is between CHF 80,000 and CHF 110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

This Senior Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for assessing and hardening the security of virtual machines, including Debian and Windows systems. They will also implement security best practices for system configurations, hardening, and patch management.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess and secure virtual machine infrastructure.
  • Implement security best practices for system configurations and patch management.
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments and execute remediation efforts.
  • Create and update security configurations and procedures for infrastructure components.
  • Monitor and analyze infrastructure for security incidents and coordinate with the Incident Response Coordinator.
  • Deploy and configure secure infrastructure components in collaboration with system engineers and operations teams.
  • Secure and manage Kubernetes clusters within our infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in infrastructure security or system administration with a security focus.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux security best practices.
  • Basic understanding of Kubernetes (k8s) and container orchestration.
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools and techniques.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Passion for out-of-the-box thinking to design custom solutions for challenges faced.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Innovative mindset and passion for developing impactful eHealth solutions.
  • English is required.
  • German or French is a plus.
