Join Our Team as a Healthcare Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Healthcare Data Scientist to join our interdisciplinary research team at the University of Zurich. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing state-of-the-art approaches and building best-in-class methods to capitalize on multimodal clinical information for building robust decision support systems powered by explainable and interpretable predictive algorithms.

Your Responsibilities
  • Design and implement machine learning models to analyze and interpret complex healthcare data
  • Collaborate with our team of medical experts to develop clinically relevant predictive models
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of healthcare data and its applications
  • Contribute to the development of novel decision support systems for healthcare professionals
Your Profile
  • Master's degree in computer science, statistics, applied math, or a closely related field
  • Proficient in Python and the scientific computing stack (SciPy, Numpy, Scikit-learn, pandas)
  • Proficient in one of the deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, Tensorflow, or Jax)
  • Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms
