Aon plc, a leading global professional services firm, is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Analyst / Project Manager to join our Operations team in Zurich. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing business processes and IT applications to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in analyzing existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for process optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, develop process maps and workflows, and work with stakeholders to define objectives and deliverables.
- Support the management of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope, and develop and maintain simple project plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented processes and IT applications, identify opportunities for improvement, and make recommendations.
- Support the evaluation and recommendation of IT applications that align with business needs, assist in the implementation and integration of new IT systems, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Bachelor's degree or similar in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in business analysis, project management, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of process improvement methodologies and exposure to implementing and managing IT applications is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, detail-oriented, flexible, hands-on, and organized individual who is able to navigate complex environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in German and English, with French being a plus.
