Accountant Senior

At Novo Nordisk, we are seeking a highly experienced accountant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in supporting the accounting operations of our SwissCo CDMO Operations GmbH.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.
  2. Perform timely month-end closing activities, reconcile financial data with intercompany manufacturing sites, and prepare monthly financial reports.
  3. Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and provide additional information as requested by management.

In this challenging role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Finance Team Lead to ensure compliance to standard operating procedures (SOP's).

Requirements
  • BSc degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a similar field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in the accounting field, with a strong understanding of financial processes and underlying accounting flows.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with people at different levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to demonstrate a proactive and structured approach to your work, perform effectively within a time-pressured environment, and compromise on quality of deliverables.
