We are seeking a talented Electronics Hardware Architect to join our R&D Department in Saint-Prex, Switzerland. As an essential member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex electronic hardware device architectures.

**Job Description**

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electronics industrial design, including digital and analog circuit design, PCB design (PCBs, Flex PCBs, wiring), component selection, schematic, layout, and production of electronic assemblies.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to analyze technical requirements, translate them into design requirements, and develop architecture for proposed hardware solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Specify design concepts and define electronic constraints in collaboration with the engineering team to ensure proper operation of the final product.
  • Design and develop complex layouts of rigid and flexible printed circuit boards using CAE and CAD applications & tools.
  • Develop complex layouts as per our project development process, participating in weekly meetings, preparing test plans for electronics solutions, and executing board bring-up and engineering validation testing.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • An Eng. EPFL or HES Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5 years of successful experience in the development of complex electronic hardware device architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuit design, PCB design, and electronics industrial design.
  • Proficiency in designing embedded hardware modules, including microcontroller and microprocessor-based systems.
  • Experience with IoT, Connectivity modules (LTE), Video compression/encoding, and radio frequency circuit design.
