We are expanding our manufacturing capacity and seeking experienced Bioprocess Engineers with a passion for biotechnology to join our team in Visp, Switzerland. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient production of therapeutic proteins using mammalian or microbial expression systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead operational activities for clinical and commercial manufacturing to ensure timely delivery and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Develop and implement effective processes for preparation, manufacturing execution, cleaning, and changeover in assigned areas.
- Oversee the production of therapeutic proteins with either mammalian or microbial expression systems, including seed train, main cultivation, harvest, capture, polishing, and filling.
- Masters degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related Life Science subject, or Bachelor's holder with experience in pharma production.
- Knowledge of upstream processing (USP) units, such as bioreactors, and downstream processing (DSP) units, such as chromatography.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in biomanufacturing, preferably in GMP environments.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with good German skills an advantage.
