About Our Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Cash Manager to join our client's team in Geneva. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing banknote stocks, handling check transactions and prepaid card operations, and following up on cash reconciliations.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, preferably in a bank, and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You will be comfortable handling large amounts of cash and have excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing teller desk transactions (cash deposits, withdrawals, currency exchanges)
  • Managing banknote stocks
  • Handling check transactions and prepaid card operations
  • Following up on cash reconciliations

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Financial studies or commercial apprenticeship in a financial institution, preferably a bank
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a teller role or back-office cash role
  • Comfortable handling banknotes and cash transactions; sometimes big amounts of money
  • Strong attention to detail and interest in reconciliation and numbers
  • Proficient in Excel (macros not required) and common banking IT applications (knowledge of S2i, GTexchange, GTmatch is a plus)
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Fluent in French with very good English skills
  • Knowledge of Forex and Money Market operations is a plus
