Job Description

SAM International GmbH is seeking a skilled Communications Officer to join our team in Fribourg, Switzerland. As a key member of the Comms & PR department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communications strategies that promote the company's brand and values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and write high-quality communications materials, including press releases, blog posts, and social media content.
  • Promote communications materials through various social channels and analytics platforms.
  • Track and analyze the success of communications campaigns, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting data-driven solutions.
  • Ensure all communications and marketing materials align with the company's brand standards and messaging.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to conceptualize and implement comprehensive communications strategies and campaigns.
  • Respond to media inquiries and perform media outreach to secure brand placements in reputable publications.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong background in communications or marketing, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position. You should possess excellent writing skills, be able to compose engaging and accurate content, and have a solid understanding of main social media channels. Additionally, you should be a strong communicator, able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fluency in French and English is required.
  • Superior time management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of communications, public relations, and marketing best practices.
  • Ability to think strategically and identify ways to improve communication efforts.
  • Resourceful and proactive approach to problem-solving.
