Credit Risk Leader

The Head of Credit Risk will be responsible for leading the credit risk team covering the Gas, Power & Renewables division. This involves developing and implementing credit risk policies, assessing counterparty creditworthiness, and establishing and maintaining credit limits.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in credit risk management, strong analytical skills, and leadership abilities to direct and mentor a team. They will report directly to the Global Head of Credit and work closely with existing Heads of Credit covering Oil, Bulk, and Freight/TFG Marine divisions.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in credit risk management, with at least 5 years covering Gas, Power & Renewables, including some leadership responsibilities within the commodity trading industry.
- In-depth knowledge of credit risk principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements specific to commodity trading.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to senior management and external stakeholders.
