Job DescriptionJoin our team at Samvaz SA, a family-owned business with over 50 years of experience in metal processing and wood construction. We are looking for a skilled Opérateur(trice) de scierie to join our team.
Responsibilities- Pilot a sawmill line
- Operate and monitor sawmill machines to cut wood according to specifications
- Supply the workstation with materials, based on the production line's capacity
- Sort and stack wood planks
- Perform other tasks related to our sawmill department
- You hold a CFC in sawing in the wood industry or a title considered equivalent
- You are fluent in French
- You have experience in the wood industry, a plus
- You have a good team spirit
- You have good organization, autonomy, and risk assessment skills
- A stable and healthy family business in a growing industry
