Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and manage innovation projects within our Geomatics division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely and on-budget project completion.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex development projects with knowledge of hardware and software development. Experience in industrial sensor/device development and Embedded Software (Operating System: Linux, WinCE) is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage innovation projects from concept to delivery
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and on-budget project completion
  • Apply Simultaneous Engineering and Agile principles to manage project deliverables
  • Identify and manage risks, communicating updates to stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement and collaborate with interrelated teams to optimize project outcomes
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience leading complex development projects with knowledge of hardware and software development
  • Experience in industrial sensor/device development and Embedded Software (Operating System: Linux, WinCE)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical/electrical design, computer science, or a related field
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
