IT Automation Specialist for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

About the Job
We are seeking an experienced IT Automation Specialist to join our team at TN Switzerland. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support for our automated systems and ensuring their optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide level 2 and 3 technical support for commercial manufacturing operations, including automation system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to execute daily operational activities and maintain compliant systems.
- Implement corrective actions as defined by deviation management or change control processes, including automation code changes, document updates, and SOP revisions.
- Manage commissioning and qualification activities for automation and IT projects.
- Work independently and supervise supplier activities.
- Contribute to a culture of business integrity and ethics.
- Support connections between IT and OT systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in automation, OT, or IT engineering.
- At least 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical technical activities, focusing on IT/OT topics.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with automation and IT systems.
- Good knowledge of specific manufacturing systems, serialization software, building management systems, and room monitoring systems.
- Familiarity with SCADA software, PLCs, IEC 61131, ISA-88, and ISA-95 standards.
- Understanding of computer networking, fieldbus, electrical, and P&ID standards.
- Design, configuration, installation, and maintenance of automation software and hardware.
- Oversight or participation in automation aspects of overall projects lifecycle, including documentation and system support.
- Troubleshooting skills to recover critical system functionalities.
- Familiarity with GMAO software and IT ticketing systems (ServiceNow).
- Awareness of business and enterprise architecture.
- Analyze data, make recommendations, and contribute to continuous improvements.
- Fluent in English and French.
