About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Histology department as a Digital Pathology Intelligent Automation Intern. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to support meaningful assignments that complement an education in STEM+ Business and Healthcare disciplines.

As a Digital Pathology Intelligent Automation Intern, you will be responsible for developing and deploying histology automated workflows using scripting or software tools. You will collaborate with different histology sub-teams to identify current workflows and propose automated solutions. Additionally, you will ensure seamless integration of automated processes with existing systems, databases, and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy histology automated workflows using scripting or software tools.

Requirements
  • You must be a student and be eligible for an internship agreement with a third party.
  • Proficiency in French or English.
  • Programming languages: Proficient in programming languages like Python, Java, or similar. Familiarity with script languages such as Bash or PowerShell is a plus.
  • Development: Experience with development tools (e.g., Git, Jira, Docker).
  • Data management: Proficient in handling, organizing, and analyzing large datasets. Familiarity with database systems (e.g., SQL, MongoDB) is an advantage.
  • User interface/web interface: Familiarity with user interface design and tools or basic web development.
  • Experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting.
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues.
  • Ability to embrace diverse ways of thinking through various forms of collaboration and partnership.
