At Banque Cantonale Vaudoise, we're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Asset Management & Trading Division. As a Senior Strategist Investment Manager, you'll be responsible for managing international bond funds and mandates, communicating performance and management decisions to clients and consultants, and developing economic scenarios to inform allocation decisions and portfolio construction.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of international bond funds and mandates, ensuring optimal returns and risk management.
  • Communicate complex financial information to clients and consultants, providing clear and concise insights into investment decisions.
  • Develop and apply economic scenarios to inform investment strategies and portfolio construction.
  • Analyze and synthesize information from bond issuers, providing actionable investment recommendations.
  • Collaborate with front-office teams to promote the business and support client relationships.

Your Ideal Profile:

  • Academic background in finance or a related field, with CFA or PhD a significant asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in bond portfolio management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent knowledge of bonds, particularly credit, investment grade, and high yield.
  • Proficiency in IT applications, including Matlab, VBA, and MS Office.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Fluency in French and English, with German a valuable asset.
