Regulatory Transaction Reporting Specialist

Your Role:
As a Regulatory Transaction Reporting Analyst at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you will be responsible for executing and monitoring group-wide financial markets infrastructure (FMI) related controls. Your daily tasks will include ensuring the completion of reporting duties, handling exceptions, and collaborating with global teams to solve issues efficiently.
Your Responsibilities:
- Execute and/or monitor group-wide FMI related controls and ensure daily reporting duties are completed.
- Perform and take responsibility for the group-wide exception handling and investigation activities for Transaction Reporting under various regulations.
- Analyze daily reports and identify potential to improve efficiency and streamline processes. Specify the change requests and drive implementation with the IT department.
- Manage and prioritize relevant FMI change requests from group entities and subsidiaries.
- Monitor updates of regulators and service providers regarding interface and content specifications.
- Assess new requirements in conjunction with Legal and IT Departments and if necessary, set up projects, create relevant change requests, write IT specifications, and drive implementation with IT.
- Support queries from regulators globally by analyzing data of relevant transactions.
Your Profile:
- University degree in Finance, Business, or Computer Science.
- 5 years of practical experience in market regulations and transaction reporting.
- Basic knowledge in Derivatives and industry-specific knowledge required.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, and knowledge in Avaloq is an advantage.
- Ability to weigh problems and set priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with various stakeholders and work independently.
- Fluency in English.
