Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead our culinary team at the Braunbär Hotel & Spa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our culinary concept, ensuring the highest standards of cuisine and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Culinary Leadership: Lead a team of 9 chefs and oversee the organization of all kitchen procedures.
• Menu Development: Create à la carte and halfboard menus, including recipes and food cost control.
• Event Management: Organize events at the grillkota and fondue gondola, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
• Team Management: Foster a positive and productive team environment, promoting excellent teamwork and communication.
• Quality Control: Ensure adherence to HACCP standards and maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.

Requirements:

• Culinary Expertise: Professional training in the hotel industry and several years of experience as a head chef in hotels.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English (German is not required but a plus).
• Leadership Skills: Excellent team leadership and communication skills.
• Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Creativity: Creative and detail-oriented, with a passion for culinary innovation.
