Job Overview

This position is for a skilled IT Security Architect to join our team at Generali Assurances.

As an IT Security Architect, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing secure solutions that meet the company's security requirements.

You will work closely with the IT architect and other teams to ensure the security of all applications and services.

The successful candidate will have expertise in cloud security, specifically Azure Cloud, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and AWS.

They will also have knowledge of security best practices, including NIST, and relevant Swiss security requirements.

Strong communication skills are essential for this role, as the successful candidate will need to effectively communicate complex security risks to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure IT solutions that meet the company's security requirements
  • Work with the IT architect and other teams to ensure the security of all applications and services
  • Develop and maintain expertise in cloud security, specifically Azure Cloud, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and AWS
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and best practices, including NIST and relevant Swiss security requirements
  • Communicate complex security risks to senior stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Security, or Telecoms
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Security Architect in a financial services industry or similar environment
  • Clear understanding of the end-to-end technology delivery lifecycle, with exposure to agile working contexts
  • Expertise in Azure Cloud, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and AWS
  • Familiarity with security best practices, including NIST, and relevant Swiss security requirements
  • Security certifications, such as CISSP/CISM/CEH, are a plus

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience
