Bern Store Clerk

The Bern Retail Store at the Bern Temple Site in Zollikofen serves members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by providing gospel resources and sacred clothing.

• Provide exceptional customer service, requiring in-depth product knowledge to assist customers.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding curriculum, proper fitting of clothing, and other complex issues.
• Maintain cashiering skills and product knowledge, acquiring new information as needed.
• Develop understanding of new products added to inventory to ensure adequate customer service.
• May provide personal-fitting services at Beehive Clothing Distribution Centers.
• Perform housekeeping duties to ensure the facility, equipment, and storage areas are in good condition.
• Serve patrons by responding to questions and finalizing sales of selected products.

• High School Education or equivalent.
• Previous experience in retail sales and customer service.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Basic math and computer skills preferred.
• Availability to work as scheduled, including Tuesday to Saturday and bank holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively in at least two languages: German, French, English, and Italian, and willingness to learn a third.
• Residency in Switzerland.
