About the Opportunity

Copeland is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Management Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our corporate communications department, you will be responsible for managing non-financial annual reporting and ensuring data integrity and auditor coordination.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in environmental or sustainability management, economics, controlling, or accounting, and at least 5 years of experience in industry or consultancy. Strong knowledge of Sustainability reporting and rating standards such as GRI, SASB, CSRD, and CDP is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage non-financial annual reporting: Set reporting standards and requirements, lead cross-functional reporting team, ensure data integrity and auditor coordination.
  • Manage sustainability ratings/rankings: Oversee reporting quality and continuous improvement, analyze results, propose enhancements and benchmark against stakeholders.
  • Streamline reporting processes: Establish reporting framework, lead double materiality assessment and support implementation of reporting IT solutions.
  • Reporting thought leadership: Monitor reporting requirements, train stakeholders on changes, engage on performance reporting and be internal reporting point of contact.
