Job Description:

As a Finance Business Systems Analyst, you will be part of the Technologies & Operations department's Finance Core Banking development team. This team is composed of around fifteen people organized according to agile principles, focusing on strategic projects and evolutive maintenance for Finance and Accounting components.

Your key responsibilities will include establishing effective communication between client/end users and the development team, helping them to communicate together directly when requirements are clear enough. You will manipulate data, extract insights, and use it to inform decision-making and support the development of project requirements.

You will ensure the quality and integrity of project requirements and deliverables, identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the project or the product, and describe and perform end-to-end testing scenarios and their execution at transversal (multi-products) level.

Additionally, you will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects within the organization, identify and mitigate risk, issue, and dependencies across the project, prepare and present project status including progress, risks, issues, and dependencies, manage project arbitrations, and escalate to appropriate stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in business management, computer engineering, information system, or a relevant field
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams or in a significant transformation project
  • At least 3+ year experience in a similar role within the banking industry
  • A previous experience in Finance and Accounting will be highly considered
  • Good command of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365)
  • The ability to interpret the problem and find alternative business and technical approaches
  • Good understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and processes to align activities with the overall project plan, schedule, and deliverables
  • Presentation skills to present project findings and outcomes in front of stakeholders
  • Ability to process modeling and analysis capabilities to map and assess business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization in French and English
