Job OverviewIn this exciting role as Chief Information Security Officer, you will lead our holistic IT security function with equal focus on confidentiality, integrity, and availability of RULEMATCH data and IT systems. This position reports directly to the CEO.
The ideal candidate has solid experience as an engineer and can bring an effective, hands-on IT security perspective. You are expected to intervene in processes and enforce necessary adjustments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement our IT security framework, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Evaluate and manage our IT risk posture continuously
- Manage business continuity and disaster recovery preparation
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices
- Be responsible for IT security policies, standards, and key controls
- Lead our IT security certification activities
- Assign internal access rights and other security-critical tasks
- Lead incident response and crisis management
- Promote a culture of strong information security
- Ensure ongoing cybersecurity awareness training and education for users
- 7-10 years of experience in information security, preferably in a leadership role
- Proven experience in implementing IT security frameworks and certifications in highly regulated industries
- Strong technical acumen in IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity technologies
- Working experience as a systems engineer is required
- University degree in computer science or a related technical field required, master's degree preferred
- Relevant professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA highly desirable
- Fluency in verbal and written English required, German a plus
