Job Description:

The Resource Group - Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Switzerland. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Design and develop mechanical systems and components, ensuring optimal performance through system simulations and analysis.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with other system components, promoting seamless system integration.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports, highlighting key design decisions and implementation details.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CAD Software Proficiency: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is essential for this role.
  • Mechanical Engineering Principles: Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices is required for designing and developing complex mechanical systems.
  • System-Level Design Experience: Experience with system-level design and integration is crucial for this position.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for identifying and resolving design issues.
  • Communication and Teamwork Abilities: Strong communication and teamwork abilities are vital for collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is mandatory.
  • Years of Experience: Years of experience in mechanical design engineering are preferred for this role.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License: A Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous but not mandatory.
