Academic Faculty Member

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Faculty Member to join our team at Sommet Education. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality education and make a lasting impact on the lives of our students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and assessing courses in their area of expertise. They will also be expected to participate in academic mentoring, advising, and counseling of students, as well as contributing to program review, design, and curriculum development.

As an Academic Faculty Member, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students from around the world, developing your skills in teaching, learning, and assessment. You will also be part of a collaborative team that values innovation, excellence, and student-centeredness.

In this role, you will be required to teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses, prepare and update teaching materials, deliver course content in various modes, and assess student performance. You will also be expected to link classroom and independent learning activities to course learning outcomes, transferable skills, and assessment requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's degree in a relevant field, along with comprehensive industry or teaching experience. Ideally, you will have a track record of teaching experience in the corresponding subject area or training and development in a professional setting. You should also be familiar with technology and aware of the latest trends in hospitality business and education.

A strong interest in teaching and a strong teaching ability are essential for this role. You should be fluent in English and proficient in French is a plus. Additionally, you should have high-level interpersonal skills and experience working in a multicultural environment.

This is a defined period of time contract from 21.02.2025 until 31.07.2025. The activity rate will depend on the courses for which you will apply. We offer a competitive salary package, including €50,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience, plus additional benefits.
