Strategic Composites Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Composites Procurement Specialist to join our team at Humanis AG, a global leader in innovative material science.

• Develop and execute category strategies to optimize costs, quality, and supplier performance for designated composite material categories.
• Identify and qualify suppliers, lead sourcing initiatives, and negotiate agreements to secure best-value partnerships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring collaboration, innovation, and supply continuity.
• Conduct regular analysis of market trends, supplier capabilities, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decisions.
• Partner with internal teams such as R&D, operations, and engineering to understand requirements and ensure alignment with procurement activities.
• Identify risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to minimize potential disruptions.
• Monitor and report on category performance, ensuring targets related to cost savings, delivery, and quality are achieved.

• Proven track record in category management, strategic sourcing, and procurement, ideally in composites or advanced materials.
• Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of a procurement category, from strategy development to execution and performance tracking.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong capability in market analysis, data interpretation, and financial acumen to support decision-making.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with composite materials and their applications in various industries is highly desirable.
• Fluency in German and English.

The estimated annual salary for this position is CHF 80,000 - 100,000 depending on experience.
