Reliability and Asset Manager for Plant Engineering

At Lonza, we're committed to harnessing the power of science to improve lives globally. In our Visp site, we're looking for a Senior Reliability & Asset Manager to join our Plant Engineering Biologics team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and maintainability of equipment and systems within Biologics facilities. As a key member of our team, you'll analyze performance data, develop and implement reliability strategies, conduct failure analysis, and improve maintenance processes to enhance overall plant reliability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement comprehensive reliability improvement plans to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Develop, monitor, and update maintenance strategies and programs to ensure maximum system uptime and cost efficiency.
- Craft detailed failure analysis reports and implement corrective actions to prevent future failures.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of reliability standard processes and new procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations through regular audits and risk assessments.
- A university degree in Mechanical/Process Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in engineering and maintenance within Biopharma/GMP environments.
- A solid understanding of business and financial processes, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- A structured and organized approach to work, with a focus on delivering results-driven solutions.
