Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled finance specialist to join our team as Controller Fund Operations | Private Equity. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of fund of funds investments across all fund operations, including reporting, ESG and risk management matters. Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include reviewing and approving quarterly fund financial statements, collaborating in the production of the quarterly fund reports for investors, managing tax and audit issues as well as regulatory compliance, overseeing the life cycle of a fund such as closings, equalization payments, fee calculations, operational provisions, fund costs, waterfall interest, post-closing of an investment, etc., and overseeing compliance with ISAE 3402 standards. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring the quality of investor documents and serving as a contact point for investor inquiries.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a Master or Bachelor in Business Administration or Accounting. A fully qualified CPA or ACCA is preferred, while CFA or CAIA qualification is a plus. You should also have sound knowledge of the Private Equity industry with funds and fund of funds, experience in fund administration, fund management, valuation or auditing, and strong analytical skills, attention to detail for financial analysis, modelling, valuation and reporting. Additionally, you should be able to do high-quality work as well as multi-tasking, act efficiently while taking changing priorities into account, and be interested in project management and presentations. Excellent Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required, and German as well as English language proficiency is necessary.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. The successful candidate will be based in Zurich, Switzerland, and will be required to travel occasionally to Düsseldorf and Shanghai.
