Assistant Restaurant Manager

Viking Cruises is seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and quality in our restaurants.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Lead and motivate a team of restaurant staff to achieve exceptional service standards.
- Monitor and control food and beverage costs, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other department heads to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and analyze sales data, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or similar role in a 5-star hospitality environment.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
