Accounting Specialist

WEG International GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Analyst to join our team in Switzerland. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting and accounting processes.

• Perform financial accounting duties, including accounts payable and accounts receivables;
• Conduct operational accounting duties, including balance sheet and P/L reconciliations and financial reporting in IFRS and Swiss GAAP;
• Perform month-end and year-end closing bookings/checks;
• Keep control of all invoices and ensure invoices are processed in time and close the month-end period in the company;
• Submit Reports internally and to external regarding Personnel, Sales by Product Line, Monthly Sales Performance, Net Sales;
• Manage all tax-related topics to guarantee validity and accuracy of all taxation matters;
• Support administrative demands of the Company as required.

• Degree in Accounting or Business administration (or equivalent field of study);
• German and English (mandatory); Portuguese or Spanish (are a strong asset);
• Advanced knowledge of Swiss GAAP (mandatory) and IFRS;
• Desirable 3 years' experience, preferably in an international environment;
• Knowledge of SAP is a strong asset;
• Initiative, leadership, self-management, analytical thinking and communication skills.
