We are seeking a talented Expert SAP Basis Implementation Specialist to join Dabster, a dynamic team of professionals. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of SAP Basis systems.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will work closely with senior consultants and technical teams to ensure the smooth operation of SAP environments, focusing on installation, configuration, and upgrade of SAP Basis components, including operating systems, databases, and application servers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and upgrade SAP Basis components, such as operating systems (Windows, Linux), databases (Oracle, SQL Server, HANA), and application servers (ABAP, Java).
  • Provide day-to-day support for SAP Basis systems, including troubleshooting technical issues, monitoring system performance, and applying security patches.
  • Perform system backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation and procedures.
  • Participate in SAP Basis projects, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, and testing.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand business processes and align technical solutions accordingly.
  • Stay updated on the latest SAP Basis technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Less than years of experience in SAP Basis consulting or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of SAP Basis concepts and technologies.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year.
