Job DescriptionThis role involves working as a technical and dynamic individual in our Sales and Account Management team, implementing sales strategies and identifying further market potential, establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships, acquiring new customers in a dedicated customer sector, preparing quotations, processing and monitoring orders, cooperating with the development and production departments and other experts, and systematically tracking offers and projects as well as leads.
Key Responsibilities:- Successful implementation of sales strategies and identification of additional market opportunities
- Establishment and maintenance of long-term customer relationships and provision of expert advice
- Acquisition of new customers within a defined customer segment
- Preparation of quotes, order processing and monitoring
- Collaboration with the development and production departments and other experts
- Systematic tracking of offers and projects as well as lead management
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a technical background such as mechanical engineering, polymechanic or automation technician, ideally combined with up to two years of experience in external or internal sales.
- Technical education in mechanical engineering, polymechanic or automation technology (Must Have)
- Ideal candidate has up to 2 years of experience in external or internal sales
- High level of self-motivation and independence as well as strong time-management skills
- Very high commitment, teamwork, customer focus, advisory and negotiating skills
- Strong social, organizational and communication skills
- Quick comprehension skills combined with a high willingness to learn
- Native German speaker with business-level English verbal and written skills (Must Have)
- Will to travel approximately 10-20%
