About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Regulatory Leadership Expert to join our team at SIX.

As Head Regulatory, you will be responsible for establishing efficient standards and processes to track and assess new regulations relevant to our legal entities. You will work closely with our teams to ensure a coordinated approach across the Group in implementing new regulations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial services regulations, managing international teams responsible for regulatory matters, and establishing standards and processes across a group of legal entities regulated in different jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide non Business Unit specific regulatory advice to support the implementation of new regulations across the Group
  • Maintain an overview of key communications with regulators and national banks, preparing and accompanying regulatory meetings to ensure consistency in our communication
  • Participate in the review process of consultations led by the Public Affairs' team, adopting Function standards and processes
  • Manage an international team of legal professionals, achieving budget objectives and ensuring effective teamwork
  • Actively participate in the management of material legal and regulatory risks and initiatives within the Legal & Compliance function, setting, monitoring, and enhancing our legal and regulatory framework

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • You hold a qualified lawyer position with extensive experience in financial services regulations
  • You have experience in managing international teams and establishing standards and processes across a group of legal entities regulated in different jurisdictions
  • You possess strong leadership skills, collaborative abilities, attention to detail, and pragmatism, valuing simplicity over complexity, discretion, and efficiency
  • You can act as a change agent, demonstrating courage and a sense of urgency
  • You are fluent in English and German, with Spanish being a plus

Compensation Package:

Our estimated salary range for this role is between 120,000 - 180,000 CHF per year, depending on your qualifications and experience. This package also includes additional benefits such as health insurance, retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
