Senior System Security Engineer

Job Description:
Your tasks include maintaining and operating the PKI and signing environment according to regulatory frameworks and standards.
- Facilitate external audits of environments together with the ISO.
- Support 2nd level and development teams for troubleshooting and implementation of new releases.
- Troubleshoot (3rd level support) and manage incidents (on-call), including log analysis and communication with vendors.
- Perform on-call/pikett duty and Linux server management (RedHat), including deploying patches and updates, standard virtualization.
- Implement automation (deployment, configuration management; Puppet, Ansible) and security best practices.
- Operate applications and collaborate with external teams.
- Manage hardware (installation, maintenance, exchange of components).
About You:
- You are a Senior Security & System Engineer with several years of experience in Linux server management (RHCE or equivalent experience).
- Experience working in a regulated environment is required.
- Solid knowledge of PKI, HSM, and electronic signatures is necessary.
- Strong troubleshooting skills (log analysis, 3rd level support, incident management) are essential.
- Nice-to-have skills include knowledge of TCP/IP, Web application firewalls, Automation, deployment and config management, Web/application servers.
- A good level of English (B2-C1) is required, with German skills an advantage.
