We are looking for a skilled Grain Trader to join our team at Mevelin AG. As a key member of our international grain trading company, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquiring new clients and partners in the European market.
  • Developing and implementing new business ideas.
  • Providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Managing deals and working with our database.
  • Monitoring market demand and procurement prices for agricultural products.
  • Selling a variety of agricultural commodities, including wheat, corn, and sunflower.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in grain trading within the European market.
  • Comprehensive understanding of global grains markets, supply chain logistics, and regulatory environments.
  • Proficiency in trading software, financial modeling, and market analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex market data.
  • Fluency in English, with additional language skills a plus.
  • EU/EFTA passport or a valid work permit for Switzerland.
