About the Role:

The World Economic Forum is seeking a highly motivated and organized professional to support the Centre for Nature and Climate (CNC) in its mission to promote a nature-positive economy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Community Engagement (30%): Manage all aspects of the Nature Action Agenda monthly calls, including scheduling, agenda-setting, and note-taking. Work closely with the Policy Lead, Nature Action Agenda, to manage the Champions for Nature and Senior Advisors' community.
  • Team Coordination (40%): Support team coordination of meetings and note-taking. Assist the Head, Nature and Biodiversity, in stakeholder outreach and knowledge management.
  • Support Financing for Nature (30%): Collaborate with the Lead, Innovative Finance for Nature, to strengthen stakeholder engagement and provide logistical support for cross-house collaboration on Financing for Nature.

Requirements:

  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to work with MS Office tools and create professional slides.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Time Management and Prioritization: Ability to work to short deadlines and juggle competing demands without compromising quality.
  • Interpersonal Skills and Emotional Intelligence: Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
  • Motivation: Self-starter who enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment.

Preferred Requirements and Experience:

  • Master's in business administration, international development, finance, economics, or similar.
  • Minimum of two years' professional experience in a project management/coordination role at a relevant business or not-for-profit organization, including consulting.
  • Proven record of working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask.
  • Experience working on environmental/sustainability issues is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working within multi-stakeholder processes and coordinating high-level meetings.
