Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Immunology Medical Lead to join our team in Zurich, Switzerland. As a key member of our Global Medical Affairs team, you will be responsible for leading the medical strategy in Immunology portfolio and selected pipeline assets focused on the EUCAN region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement medical strategies to support the Immunology portfolio and pipeline assets in the EUCAN region.
  • Provide expert medical/scientific input into core EUCAN Medical Affairs matters, including health-care professional and provider engagements, clinical and scientific data generation, educational initiatives, patient safety matters, publication strategy, and internal scientific training.
  • Work closely with Global Medical Leads for the assets under your responsibility, select core countries, and other relevant internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective implementation of medical strategies.
  • Hold accountability for the implementation of all tactics related to assets under your responsibility, including evidence generation, medical education, publications, scientific training, insight generation, and budget management.
  • Partner closely with key LOCs, including access groups, NPP planning, and MCE, to drive Medical Affairs activities and generation and dissemination of data supporting overall product, scientific, and business strategy.
  • Collaborate with external researchers to generate real-world data, focusing on meeting regional needs in terms of access requirements and regulatory needs.
  • Develop and maintain professional engagement with external experts in the field of Immunology, Dermatology, and Rheumatology.
  • Contribute to developing innovative research concepts for clinical data generation and provide relevant scientific and technical training.
Requirements
  • MD degree or local equivalent with 10+ years of experience in working and proven results preferably in medical affairs roles in biotech, pharmaceuticals industry, academic, or hospital environment.
  • Demonstrated success in global, cross-functional environments.
  • Expertise and/or training in Immunology, Dermatology, and Rheumatology TA is preferred.
