About the Role
As a seasoned Network Security Engineer at J. Safra Sarasin, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's networking landscape and contributing to the success of the infrastructure department. As a group IT service provider, you will be responsible for delivering network security-related services from Switzerland to group entities worldwide, offering a diverse and international work environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the global network environment, including CISCO, firewalls, proxies, DNS, DDoS, and NAC.
- Ensure the stability of the network infrastructure, resolving issues and keeping it up-to-date.
- Support projects with network solution designs in alignment with other infrastructure teams.
- Implement solutions in the network area as a technical lead and solution architect.
- Document network services, including network design and operational manuals.
- Participate in the on-call organization as a member.
Your Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent education.
- IT network certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, CCSA, or CCSE.
- At least 5 years of experience in networking security, including routing, switching, firewalls, proxy, and DNS.
- Experience with ITIL methodologies and knowledge of Linux and shell scripting.
- Experience with designing and implementing network infrastructure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure and take responsibility.
- Fluency in English, with German fluency a plus.
- Willingness to travel (5-10%).
