Global Accounting Lead

Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field – additional CPA or equivalent professional certification is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in group accounting and reporting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role – auditor experience with one of the big-4 and experience with a SIX listed company is advantageous.
  • Profound knowledge and experience in accounting and reporting, with a focus on IFRS and a track record in managing audits and knowledge of international tax regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle complex financial data.
  • A hands-on mentality, willing to take ownership, able to work under pressure and deal with conflicting priorities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership skills – strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence others, collaborate cross-functionally and across different geographies for optimal outcomes.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages, especially German, are a plus.
  • An openness to occasional business travel.
