Join Kolb Distribution AG as a Key Account Manager and take on a challenging role in our rapidly growing international company. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for the international sale of chemical raw materials for the Personal Care market in compliance with Kolb's pricing specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers in the DACH region, France, Benelux, and Scandinavia.
- Provide intensive application-related consulting and support to customers in close cooperation with Product Management, Marketing, and Research & Development.
- Cultivate and develop long-term customer relationships and acquire new customers, identifying new areas of application and introducing new products and technical solutions.
- Assure sustainable, profitable growth in the corresponding markets through active collaboration in the development and implementation of operational measures and projects.
- Monitor market and competitor trends, conducting market potential analyses and developing authoritative plans for short and mid-term business development.
- Prepare and submit bids, pricing in line with internal specifications, and maintain accurate reporting and correspondence.
- Represent the company at seminars, conventions, and trade fairs, including booth supervision.
- Chemical education (FH/Uni) and extensive sales experience of surfactants in the Personal Care industry.
- Ability to establish a Business Case and develop different pricing models.
- Fluent language skills in German, English, and French, with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and team competences, with the ability to achieve optimal results in cooperation with other internal departments.
- Connected thinking, with the ability to grasp complex information and communicate concisely.
- Willingness to travel 40% to 60%.
