Position: Psychiatric Assistant PhysicianOverview: Join our dedicated team at Integrierte Psychiatrie Winterthur - Zürcher Unterland IPW, where you will engage in comprehensive psychiatric care.
- Holistic Treatment: Provide integrative psychiatric and psychotherapeutic interventions, including psychopharmacological therapies within a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) framework that involves family participation.
- Group Leadership: Opportunity to facilitate various psychotherapeutic groups, enhancing the therapeutic experience for patients.
- Initial Assessments: Conduct pre-interviews to assess patient needs and tailor treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with the internal medicine department to ensure somatic treatment is aligned with psychiatric care.
- Interprofessional Collaboration: Engage in networked work with a multidisciplinary team, including social and health authorities, as well as private practice specialists.
- Experience with Young Adults: Utilize your skills in working with young adults facing complex life challenges.
- Specialization: Ongoing or advanced training in psychiatry and psychotherapy, or child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy is encouraged.
- DBT Experience: Familiarity with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is considered beneficial.

- Commitment to Care: A strong interest in treating personality disorders, self-regulation issues, and interaction disorders is essential.
- Qualifications: A medical diploma recognized in Switzerland or the EU, or registration in the MEBEKO Register, along with proof of German language proficiency for foreign qualifications.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in the German language is required.
- Therapeutic Approach: Implement an integrative psychotherapy model with a focus on DBT in a certified DBT unit.
- Methodologies: Employ cognitive-behavioral and systemic treatment techniques tailored to young adults and various disorders, including personality disorders, anxiety, OCD, and eating disorders.
