About The Position:
The Field Technician will serve as our primary point of contact for hardware-related issues at client sites. This individual will diagnose and repair problems, collaborate with our team, and provide top-notch customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair hardware failures on our robots in a safe and timely manner.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical teammates to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide excellent customer service, representing Relay Robotics professionally at all times.
- May assist with field projects and new robot deployments as needed.
- Develop expertise in servicing and maintaining our robot hardware through paid training and hands-on experience.
Requirements:
- Experience with hardware assembly and disassembly.
- Background in building and/or modifying computer hardware and small electronics.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including proficiency in digital tools like Slack and Google Meet/Hangouts.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Fluent in German and English.
