SQL Database Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and monitor MS-SQL databases to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
  • Perform database migrations and upgrades to maintain data consistency and security.
  • Optimize database performance to meet business requirements and improve data retrieval efficiency.
  • Ensure database system operation and troubleshoot errors to minimize downtime.
  • Implement backup and recovery procedures to protect against data loss and ensure business continuity.

Requirements:

  • Completion of IT training and relevant certifications.
  • Years of experience in IT support and database administration.
  • Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery scenarios for MS-SQL databases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Management Studio, T-SQL, and SQL.
  • Experience with reporting service installation is a plus.
  • Fluency in German and English.
