Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Dam Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in dam design, construction, and maintenance, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new dam projects, from initial concept to completion, ensuring that they meet all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Perform site visits and assessments to identify potential issues and ensure that projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineers, drafters, and project managers, to deliver high-quality results.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our services and stay ahead of the competition.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in dam engineering, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects.
- Excellent knowledge of international standards and guidelines for dam design, such as USBR, USACE, FERC, and others.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in finite element and finite difference software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; French, Italian, and German are considered assets.
Benefits and Remuneration
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
