We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Packaging Engineering Intern to join our Device and Packaging Development team at Roche. As a Packaging Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging and impactful business-critical projects, collaborating with a talented team of professionals in the biotechnology industry.
Key Responsibilities- Design and qualify primary and secondary packaging systems for Roche's global pipeline molecules
- Drive global packaging initiatives, including platform packaging designs and aligning global packaging network best practices
- Identify new packaging technologies and implement them in our operations
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement packaging solutions
- Participate in intern committees to design and coordinate program events and initiatives
- Pursuing a Master's Degree in Materials Science, Mechanical, Chemical, Packaging Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of secondary packaging and related equipment and processes, pharmaceutical equipment validation/qualification processes, and industry standards for packaging
- Proficiency in computer systems, including TOPS, CAD, Solidworks, Microsoft tools, and Adobe
- Project management skills and experience in cross-functional projects
- Design thinking and design management
- English language proficiency required, knowledge of German is an asset
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
