About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Elevator Technician to join our team at Otis. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our elevators and escalators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular maintenance and repair work on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic components of elevators and escalators
  • Identify and address repair and improvement opportunities on our equipment, sourcing necessary parts as needed
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic work using modern tools to resolve issues and restore equipment to optimal performance

Requirements

  • Completed technical education or training in a relevant field, such as electromechanical engineering or a related discipline
  • Proficiency in German language, with English language skills a plus
  • Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of responsibility and a willingness to get hands dirty
  • Valid Category B driver's license and a residence within our service area
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
